It’s small; just three metres long, but can seat four passengers. Most of all, it’s captured the attention of people across the globe like no other car, with the probable exception of the early assembly line Ford and the untoppleable Volkswagen Beetle. The Nano, with its unimaginable price tag is expected to revolutionise the way people move on wheels. But that’s not all, soon budget buyers will have offerings from Mahindra and Bajaj.
While Mahindra’s small car will compete with the Nano with a price tag of Rs 1.3 lacs, Bajaj’s offering may take a few more years to join the race. So, is the city looking forward to driving away in a small car?
